Kiran is one of the few from the original trilogies now in all the modern Disney era Star Wars films.
He portrayed Brethupp, an Ewok who played drums on stormtrooper helmets after the Battle of Endor, various stunt Ewoks, and the tortured dustbin droid in Jabba’s dungeon in “Return of the Jedi.” In “The Force Awakens,” he played Infrablue Zedbeddy Coggins, Pru Sweevant, and Teedo. Shah also appeared as Neepers Panpick in “The Last Jedi” and worked as a creature and droid performer in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” playing a creature named Oolin Musters.
In “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” he portrayed a creature called Karjj, a character first revealed in a Solo-themed Denny’s commercial released on April 2, 2018. In “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker,” Shah played Nambi Ghima, a female Aki-Aki residing on the planet Pasaana, and Yipsit, a Shahkirin male mechanic serving the Resistance. Additionally, he worked as a puppeteer on the Disney+ series “Andor,” where he portrayed the character Granik.
